Activities

Trace and ultra-trace analysis. Mineral and organic compounds are analysed in different kinds of matrices (water, waste water, biological fluids, drugs in simple and complex galenic formulations,...).
Analysis : assays, determination of degradation products and synthesis residues.
Immunoassays and biosensors, chemiluminescent labels.

Research Topics

Analysis of pollutants (As, ..) in food by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry.
Molecular spectrophotometry in quantitative and qualitative evaluations of pharmaceuticals, impurities and degradation products.(Eric Ziemons).
Homogeneous and heterogeneous immunoassays using luminescent and enzymatic detection. (R.Lejeune).
Application of physicochemical techniques to biosensor development. (R.Lejeune).
CO₂ Supercritical fluid extraction of impurities in drug matrices. (Eric Ziemons)..
Separation and purification of samples by chromatography.
Development and validation of new analytical methods and synthesis of labelled molecules are also a department speciality.
